Rimmel Stay Matte Powder Review

Hey everyone, today I’m back with a review on the Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder.

Here’s what Rimmel say.

Natural minerals minimise the appearance of pores. Gives a smooth, shine free finish.

Normal to Oily skin types. Non chalky matte finish.

This powder is pretty well known in the make-up world, and for good reason it’s a great setting powder.

I primarily use it all over my face to set my foundation, or in my t zone. since this pressed powder doesn’t have a lot of pigment it means you won’t end up with cakey foundation if you do use it as an all over setting powder.

I find that this does make my foundation last longer, but I don’t think it makes me look overly matte which I quite like. But if you are looking for a powder that makes your foundation look really matte, then this might not be for you.

I use this powder everyday and absolutely love it and can’t see myself using anything else (at least for a little while)

This pressed powder comes in 4 shades 1 of them being a translucent powder and is $12.95 which isn’t too bad, especially since I bought mine awhile ago and still haven’t hit pan.

I think if you’re on the hunt for a setting powder that’s not overly matte then you should definitely give this one a try.

Have you tried out this powder, what did you think? let me know in the comments

xo Cassie
